i have a baby pueblan milk snake with every thing and a 100watt ceramic heat emitters?
k well the guy at the Pet Shop told me that the 100watt ceramic heat emitters is perfect for my baby pueblan milk snake but my other friend david told me that the ceramic heat emitters is to much heat for the snake and at the moment i am low on cash so i thought what if i use one of those heat blankets you get for your bed as a heating pad would it work? pls be honest
Yes, thats a huge heater for a tiny snake that doesn't require a lot of heat. You can either buy a thermostat for the ceramic and buy a much smaller one when you have more money, or Try selling the ceramic on ebay or whatever and pick up an undertank heater (heat mat). I would go with that because snakes dont generally bask and will use a heat mat better. You MUST use these with a thermostat, this is what could happen to your snake if you dont get one:
