Can I use rust instaed of lime in a garden?
In a vegetable garden crop rotation, lime must be added to lower acidity before planting brassicas (cabbage familly). Could Iron Oxide (=rust) be used instead of lime?
i prefere less intense demands of the soil,by planting diverse and mulching,the results are still good and a stronger more balanced soil is left behind
and by mulching you treat the whole garden like a compost heap ,meaning the topsoil of your whole garden becomes compost,like we do in Permaculture
